  : Location location location. Was sooo central and opened the windows looking down on campo De’Fiori
  : The beds. Not suitable for 5 of us, the mattress on the sofa bed is old and sinking through the frame the main bed is the wrong way round and so too short, feet dangle off the end. Not a very comfortable stay.

  : The place is super cute. Spacious and well decorated. Great location. Would definitely stay there again.
  : It was extremely hot when we stayed in Rome and the air conditioning was not working well at all. It was very hot inside. The mattress was very hard- uncomfortable. And the apartment overall could be cleaner. A few tweaks. But I still loved it.

  : The view was fantastic. The apartment was nice. The ordinary double bed was good.
  : Campo di Fiori is noisy day and night. The bathing facilities were miserable: the water temperature changed between hot and very cold without further notice and the shower head could not hold the position. The sofa bed was uncomfortable. The ignition for the gas range did not function.

  : The location was fantastic - overlooking a historic market square and within easy reach on foot or by bus of all the sites. The flat was clean and well provided for in terms of towels, tea and coffee etc. The person who met us to let us in was brilliant - very friendly and really helpful. Her restaurant recommendations were all spot on. The flat had big windows with a view of the square and was very well heated, which was great for cold but sunny Rome weather
  : The flat had some quirky design features that did not really work for us. The television was in the bedroom rather than the living room, and so not easy to watch comfortably. All the lamps were glued down, so that it was difficult to get proper light to read comfortably. The bath was tiny. These things did not spoil our stay, but it (and the flat) would have been even better but for them. Also, the downside to overlooking a market is that you do get woken by the noise of dustbin lorries at 4am!!

  : Good location Comfortable Even though there was a last minute change to another appartment our host has ensured that our stay would be of same or better quality which we appreciated a lot.
  : There was a problem with my debit card as the host had taken an approval for the amount but at check in she didn’t use the same. I have therefore been debited twice and the amount of the first approval is still not credited to my bank account despite that I repeatedly requested the host to proceed with necessary bank actions.Our trip was on the 1st sep but the amount will be credited after the 15th of oct!I find it annoying to have such an issue, the response and assistance should improve to get a better result.

  : The person arrived late with the key. There was no sign on the doorbell and nobody picked up at the available #. The person was not very friendly as all the other people we met during our stay in Rome.It is a really old house - the nauseating smell of the garbage piled up by the entrance and moldy stairs going up was not appreciated.The shower was so small - you could not even turn around (and we are petite people!). It was also leaking so the floor was constantly wet.We only stayed for 4 nights and few extra rolls of toilet paper should be part of the package ... nobody wants to be looking for a supermarket for toilet paper last minute.For 2 adults & 2 teens the room was perhaps a little too tight. In Rome you spend more time outside the room rather than inside, so this would be least of our complaint. We managed :).The rug needs to be replaced - it sheds and the fiber is now stuck on all of our clothes!While the location is fun - in the middle of a lively square, it was also the major downfall of our experience :((. I should have read the reviews more carefully not to get ourselves in this situation. There is one from a month ago that describes exactly our unfortunate experience. The market preparation start around 5:45 am every single day. There is no sound proofing with the old windows and we literally were up every day as the loud banging and pounding of metal started. It was horrible. My description does not do it justice. Going to bed early was also impossible because it is a big party square and people are loud till 2 a.m. If you travel with kids or need to manage a jet-lag, this is no way a location to stay at. We really were sleep deprived for the whole time in Rome. This room is good only for young couples!While I understand that some of these elements are out of the owners control (as is the garbage at the entrance or the loud location), I think the price should be much lower and the hardships should be communicated up front.
