Set in the Maremma hills Valdonica Residence offers an outdoor pool surrounded by 200 acres of countryside vineyards and forests. Everything about the Valdonica Winery & Vineyard Residence is organic. This ranges from the wine it produces to its eco-friendly energy supply. The residence consists of 3 different buildings: the Villa Cantina and Capo Pagiano.

It has lots of lounges and terraces overlooking the gardens and hills. In addition guests can enjoy the outdoor pool located by the Cantina building and offering panoramic views of the countryside. Rooms are a mix of elegant country and modern styles. Each is equipped with satellite TV a tea/coffee maker and cosy bathrobes and slippers.

The Valdonica is a 30-minute drive from Grosseto and 50 km from the coast of Tuscany.

: Valdonica is a beautiful place to stay and explore the Tuscan valleys and cities. Breakfast with very vast offer of hand made pastries, Italian focchachia and cold cuts. Confiture and honey in more than ten sorts. Very friendly and warm service team. We were invited to the end of harvest party for a little amount and were able participated in a great fest we will never forget. Additionally there was free recharge for water and coffee in the cantina, an amazing wine tasting and a little welcome present for us.Last but not least, from every place at Valdonica there was a phenomenal view over the vinyards and Tuscan landscape.
: The only thing to mention is that the hotel is located very rural and we would recommend to arrive there by car to explore the beautiful sourrounding. There are not so many restaurants easily accessible by feet. To enjoy all the beauty of Valdonica you have to bring some mobility. The hotel is parted in the cantina down the hill and the main hotel with the restaurant. The pool also is located some meters down the vineyard so that people with disabilities might have difficulties to access.
