  : Beautiful liberty hotel. Close to a little forest. Helpful conciergerie.
  : The hotel is a "terme" hotel amid other things. As a hotel host it is possible to have 15% discount on entrance to the thermae, which is a swimmingpool located in the hotels garden. The process for entering the thermae swimmingpool requires a lot of paperwork, unnecessary because booking is mandatory (they know you are coming) and the hotel has your data. Data (name, adress ... ) must be written on paper at the swimmingpool' s desk before entering. The clerk will transfer the information from paper to computer while you are waiting at the desk and others are waiting in line. It results in time waisted (10 15 minutes when three persons must enter) and frustration. Note that you have about two hours to enjoy the thermae, so 15 minutes matter. People at the desk are helpful and they try their best. The system is thoug totally ineffective.

  : Lovely "grande dame" of a hotel, reminiscent of another era. Very warm welcome from the night porter following a very late booking. Breakfast was OK.
  : Room was quite small, and the way the bathroom was designed did not suit the space.

  : The hotel has a nice park around, the city has a small storical center with a Sforza castle. It is fine for a walk.
  : The Hotel room had an A/C which was not controllable and in each 3 minutes it turned on for 20 seconds, making a huge noise, right enough to fall asleep hard. The toilet had internal leaks and the water was dropping continously... it was also disturbing. Appart from this, the room was clean and nice!

  : I arrived in very late, after a long travel and issues with road closure in the region. The staff were incredibly kind, despite my late arrival. The room I was assigned was very large - a full suite, with both bedroom and sitting room. The hotel is indeed grand - a beautiful period building with art deco style. It appears to be undergoing renovation, preserving the original elements - which is super cool. Bed was comfortable, and everything was spotlessly clean. Fresh water and basic amenities were provided, including tea service in the room. The breakfast was outstanding! You could not want for more. And the service staff were sweet and very accommodating. The gardens are quite lovely, and the environment peaceful and classy. Also they offer spa services and geothermal soaking onsite. I will definitely be back, for a longer stay!
  : Both the shower and AC were not functioning in my first room - a great disappointment after a long trip. I was assigned another room, but not offered compensation - and transferring ate a day I was hoping to spend at the spa. I attempted to extend my stay, but was told that I'd need to move rooms once more to accommodate (understandable, as I was just one person in a suite suitable for a larger party) but felt it better to move on. I did not get to experience the spa on this trip. Next time!
