  : Location was great! Very close to Cesare gelato, the archaeological museum, hydrofoil, and lungomare. Staff were very accommodating. We had a very early train and they gave us breakfast to go. Dinner at the restaurant was very good. Room and bathroom were large and clean. The hotel is a bit dated in terms of decor, but we had a good stay. Would recommend.

  : The hotel is in an excellent location across the street from the Archaeology Museum, near the Lido train station, and close to the Lungomare walk along the water. The staff was very friendly and informative. The room and hotel were very elegant.
  : The pillows were the normal Italian flat type and that made sleeping uncomfortable for me.

  : The location was excellent for visiting the museum. The hotel staff was responsive to our complaints and changed our room; we were upgraded to a suite, which was more comfortable and spacious. I rate the hotel as 5 because the staff responded to our complaints. But as a hotel, it merits a 2 or 3.
  : The heat! The temperature in our first room was an unbearable 25C, and we were unable to adjust the temperature ourselves in spite of instructions in the room explaining how to do this. We asked for help at the desk and learned that the hotel staff have absolutely no control over the temperature--that it is at a fixed setting, and that our only option was to open the window (onto a very noisy street) or to try changing to another room, which is what we did. The rooms are shabby, as if nothing has been replaced or renovated since 1975. And our first room had a parquet floor, which was absolutely filthy: the bottoms of our feet were black from walking across the floor with bare feet. It was disgusting. It is a very bad location for restaurants.
