: On the drive, with the host, from Amalfi to Giardarno Sul Mare I wondered how I picked this accommodation. I believe we were looking for a quiet stay, outside of the craziness of the town of Amalfi. This accommodation delivered. Yes, it is about 5 km. away from the town of Amalfi. The owners will pick you up and drop you off in the town for a small fee. And they will cook breakfast, lunch and/or dinner. The apartment was large and recently updated. The bathroom is large and has a great view of the sea. The bedroom, with access to the deck, is large and the bed is very comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped if you wish to cook for yourself. We were blessed with lovely sunsets looking towards Capri, sunrises over Salerno and two full moons. The views from this property are spectacular. The meals we ordered were lovely cooked and delivered to our room. Thanks to our hosts for looking after us.
: This is a remote apartment. If you have a car it would work well. There is really no place that you could walk to, restaurants, shops, etc.

: Miria and Andrea are lovely, excellent breakfast and lots of choices on order for food and even local wine, view is amazing, away from crowds lower at beaches. Drive up here is worth it!

: The host is definitely perfect. Miria cooks much better than chiefs in restourants. I highly recommend everyone who stays here to order some food from her. View. The view is amazing at all. Felt like in heaven.The host offer transport, dinner, lunch, breakfast everything. The cost of them are also nice.
: Location. The road was closed and we were stuck in hotel. Indeed location was good. Not hard to get but when the road is closed it is almost impossible to get center by walking.Andrea is a great man, he offered us to bring Amalfi either in scooter or other way but we did not want due to high risk.

: A little unsure of the location when we first arrived, it was lot higher up the mountain and we initially thought it seemed farther away from things than we had anticipated. However a a few runs to the supermarket and restaurants and Amalfi proved otherwise, just had to get used to the windy roads. This ended up being a great location, away from the hustle and bustle of other tourists, nice and quiet, just listening to the chooks clucking (chooks = Australian for chickens). The downstairs apartment was equipped with everything we needed and incredibly cosy and comfortable. Hosts were helpful when needed but not in your face. Found parking on the street was easier. A tip - travel lightly if possible as there are 91 steps down to the apartment - ok going down, but taking luggage back up is very hard work!
: Occasionally could hear noise from the upstairs apartment but I guess this is always going to be an issue with any downstairs apartment.
