Park Hotel Mater Dei is set next to the Aloch Ski Lift which takes you to the Fassa Valley's night-skiing slopes. Its wellness centre includes a sauna Turkish bath and gym. Parking and Wi-Fi are free. A shuttle bus connects you to and from the ski lifts to the Dolomiti Superski area. All of the most popular shops and restaurants of Pozza di Fassa are 5 minutes' walk away.

Rooms at the Mater Dei have been refurbished and come with satellite TV. Most also feature a panoramic mountain views. The wellness centre is complete with UV sun bed and massages can also be booked. The restaurant serves local specialities. Gala dinners are organised weekly.

Drinks are served at the pub. The hotel has a free ski deposit with CCTV. Mountain bikes are available for rent and there is a playground and kids' club as well as a games room.

: We loved the food, particularly excellent grand dinner on Thursday, but also on all other days. There was a small smack and drinks also in the afternoon. Spa area was nice, with different saunas.

: The Mater Dei is a perfectly-managed hotel with a great attention to detail. The staff are really friendly and helpful, and communicate in English. The hotel has all the facilities one needs for a perfect skiing holiday, except a pool. Rooms are not spacious but spotlessly clean and pleasant, overlooking the mountains, beds comfortable. Fantastic food in terms of product quality and taste, but much too much :), like the 14-course dinner on New Year's Eve! I wanted to hug the chef who made desserts. Breakfast with a lot of choice, real coffee, real scrambled eggs, freshly squeezed juice... Foreign guests are well informed about things. Great location in a quiet area yet close to the village centre. Spacious parking lot. Hotel van takes you to the slopes. Greetings to Michele - the good soul of the hotel. I recommend Mater Dei at any time, Alicja W.

: A last minute reservation in the evening as the campsite was full. Quiet position and receptionist recommended a couple of restaurants so we had a great meal out.
: Probably not our style of hotel but worked really well for one night.
