: The location was better than we could have imagined, and a balcony that looked right out over the water. Also easy to access cinque terre via ferry.
: The air conditioning and Wi-Fi were spotty at some points, but staff was very accommodating and easy to work with.

: The room was very cosy with nice facilities. Host Alicia was helpful. The view on the Portovenere bay is absolutely splendid.
: Realise you have to walk 200m with luggage to reach the apartment. By all means do NOT park in the Public parcheggio of the Portovenere hotel. This parking is totally unfit for large cars even for Italian standards and your car is likely to be damaged. Instead make sure to come by public transport or to park in the blue zones in the streets -- standard European touristy rates.

: Great place to stay in Porto Venere - the views are fantastic, right onto the water and the docs. The beds were comfortable and the shower nicely remodeled.
: The only negative is the room is on the small side, but we expected it.
