  : Location was great. Rooms are simple, very clean.
  : The only staff member at the desk was pleasant, but spoke only Spanish and Portuguese, no Italian and no English. Communication was difficult.

  : The hotel was easy to find and a short distance from the train station.
  : The person at the front desk seemed surprised and irritated that we were there, and gave us a key with little explanation and none of the usual formalities. When I asked if they needed our passports, they said "later" - well, it was the last time we ever saw anyone at the desk. The room was spare, poorly furnished, and very "tired." No air conditioning, and it was quite hot. Loud traffic noise all night echoed through the courtyard of the building and directly into the room. We never saw anyone at the front desk after our initial check-in, and we left a day early. Upon check-out there was no one at the desk despite ringing the bell, so we left our key on the desk and left.

  : It is a decent place to stay at a good location. It has got all the basics right. Serves breakfast. Those freshly made croissants deserve a special mention. They are some of the best that I ever had. The staff also agreed to keep our bags for half a day after checkout.
  : The whole place has kind of old, tired look. Gives the impression that its best days were in the past. Some of the decor and bathroom fittings need a fresh update.
