  : Stunning location by the lake in this pretty part of Italy. if youre driving, the secure parking behind the gate is good. Great food in the restaurant & friendly staff.
  : Although there were steps down to the lake, it was quite overgrown & unkempt and not really an easy place to enter the lake for a swim. best observed from the terrace for breakfast.

  : Charming small hotel with friendly and helpful staff. It is right on the edge of the lake with access for those who want to cool down in the water. An expansive outdoor dining area with opening roof and sliding windows that allow protection from the sun and weather but the feeling of being outside. A beautiful place to relax and enjoy the water views. Excellent food.
  : Very little. The bathrooms are a bit dated.

  : Stunning location with access to the lake for a dip and lovely gardens. Glass fronted breakfast room/restaurant provides stunning view across the water. Private and romantic, sets it apart from other hotels in the area. Breakfast delicious. The restaurant serves incredible food, haute cuisine, reflected in the price but so worth it. Friendly staff. Lift from the station was much appreciated.
  : The addition of an armchair in the room so you could look out over the lake comfortably would have been the icing on the cake!

  : Good view of the lake if you pay the 20 euros extra for it. Clean rooms. Excellent food in modern glazed area overlooking the lake.
  : Common areas very run down and grubby with dirty carpets and peeling wallpaper. Entrance is through a disused bar area and small rooms filled with mismatched old furniture. The chap who was behind a small desk seemed surprised to see us and just gave me a key with no instructions as to where the room was or any other information. The room was clean and large but very dated. Only one small flat pillow each and no sound insulation so that we were kept awake until after 330 am by an elderly resident's radio. The food was a high standard but although the restaurant is modern there was no ambiance as there were only two elderly people in the room who left after about an hour. The service was awful. We wanted an early dinner as we had an early start the next day. We were the first people in the restaurant and we waited 75 mins for our starter (not helped by the fact the waiter got the wrong order) and then the next 2 courses took an hour. Goodness knows how they would manage with more people! It is a shame that the hotel is so run down as the chef is good but 140 for the room which was almost the most expensive we stayed in on a 5 week tour is much too high for the standard. The garden is overgrown and no access to the lake due to undergrowth.
