  : Giacomo couldnt have been more helpful before and during our stay, sending us recommendations of things to do in the area and arranging transfers from the airport for us. The apartment was in a great location for the beach and a short (15 minute) walk to local restaurants (although there were some closer too!). We loved the balcony for when the sun was shining and enjoyed the very comfy bed - weve not slept so well in a long time! Giacomo even gave us some delicious Sicilian treats for the road which we thought was a very nice touch.
  : Hot water for the shower seemed to run out pretty quickly, but maybe we didnt heat it for long enough.

  : The Beach House is a first floor apartment, well situated being 5 minutes walk from the wide sandy bay of Mondello Beach and the nearest restaurants and a few minutes walk to local a mini-market and bakery. The apartment is spacious and well equipped. We enjoyed the morning sunshine with breakfast on the balcony off the kitchen, and evening sunshine with a glass of wine or beer on the balcony off the living room! Our host Giacomo came to the apartment on the day we arrived to welcome us and answer any questions. He was very helpful and provided lots of information about Palermo and the local area. He also offers the service of a taxi driver, Ermanno, for transfers from and to the airport and other journeys during your stay. Ermanno was very good and we recommend his service. The busier part of Mondello and more restaurants are around 20 minutes walk along the beach front, and we enjoyed the walk in the evenings.
  : Just a couple of things could improve the apartment. The double bedroom does not have a wardrobe, so that would be a good addition! We were able to use the wardrobe in the second bedroom, so it wasn't a problem for us especially as there was only two of us. Also perhaps add a small table on the balcony outside the kitchen? Otherwise, everything was great.
