  : Easy to access and in a lovely area walkable to many sites. Room was spacious and clean.
  : The host got quite upset when we couldnt work the lock on the door. The morning of our departure she banged loudly on the door to tell us to leave immediately; however then provided us with a lovely breakfast. Confusing.

  : Clean room and bathroom. Comfortable bed.
  : Very difficult to find. Even at entrance to property it was hard. No indication or instructions and Google maps was hopeless. Met by a man, paid, shown my room, given a ticket which turned out to be breakfast at a bar along the road. No explanation.No fire safety routes obvious. No idea who else if anyone was staying in the place. Scary as there was nobody on duty the whole time I was there. In photos prior to stay breakfast was shown. None available this time.Tap in bathroom wobbly. Shower needs repairing. Balcony rusty and furniture in poor condition. View from room of down at heel flats with balcony full of rubbish.

  : Overall fine and clean for budget accomodation.
  : The check in experience was not great, I booked this place after good reviews about the lady and owner who checked people in. I was contacted by a young man who I believe was the son and he had quite a rude abrupt manner. Even after keeping him updated on the time of arrival I was receiving pushy messages asking me to hurry up because he had commitments. I could not hurry anymore and had already communicated earlier the time of arrival. He then told me his mother was sick and he had to get a train which I am empathetic about but they are running a business here and this is not how it works. The room was basic but fine, a little run down, and it had a separate bathroom which wasn't the best when the other rooms had an ensuite bathroom. The small fridge in the room was so noisy I had to turn it off in the night to sleep as it was rattling and making sounds. Also there was nothing in the fridge as per the list in terms of drinks. The location was very central however.

  : Disappointed at lack of response when notified immediately that we have forgotten something at the property and if we can have it posted back. Chased multiple times and 2 weeks later being told they didnt have them.

  : Building was very odd! Rooms were dull! There was supposed to be breakfast but there wasnt and we were sent to a cafe to have one croissant & cafe, which had no indoors table. Also the noise in the bathroom was very irritating!

  : Friendly owner who ensured we all had a lovely breakfast each day (even accommodating dietary requirements without being asked!)able to give us tips on where to go. Excellent location, easy to walk to main attractions. We had a very early departure (2am) and was no issue for owner.
  : Unusual smell in one bathroom (although this can just be expected in old buildings & plumbing systems).

  : Location was great and very convenient to have a parking behind
  : The room was next to an external bathroom and it was a bit noisy. Also, the curtain let too much light in early in the morning. The breakfast room was not functional and we were given vouchers for a coffee and a pastry instead but really poor, the owner probably found this is a cheaper option and saves money. I did not like the fact that the owner charges extra for late arrivals, this should not be allowed by booking.com.
