  : Our accommodation elsewhere was cancelled at the last minute by Booking, due to some problems with water supply. we had to quickly look for something else. After booking this, the host screwed up up by telling us that they were closed for the day of the actual booking and told us to come the next day. after a lot of toing and froing they admitted their mistake having caused us additional, unnecessary lot of grief.Property.It is a sort of a converted cellar of the donors house, where they live.One bedroom has no window or any other ventilation. The other bedroom view is onto a concrete wall in a tiny courtyard with smelly garbage bins. The same view is offered by the kitchen window. The living room is very dark, with a view of an overgrown garden.One of the bathrooms is only good for having a shower while sitting on a toilet. Really shocking. Despite them advertising knowledge of English, they were TOTALY unable to communicate in English or any other language than Italian. We could only communicate with them by Booking acting as an interpreter. Very convenient indeed.The only review they had at that point awarded them 10 points was written by a supposedly independent reviewer , who admitted they never stayed at their property.my best guess, their friendly uncle.my recommendation is STAY AWAY!!!
