Agriturismo San Ottaviano is a historic farmhouse in the unspoilt Maremma area of Tuscany. It offers two swimming pools and a restaurant where you can sample homemade beer. The Agriturismo is composed of 4 rural buildings where you will find the villas and apartments. The accommodations have traditional Tuscan decòr with wooden beams terracotta floor and stone walls. Guests enjoy a daily International breakfast with local products including the homemade honey and olive oil.

Don't forget to book the restaurant in advance where you can enjoy a delicious Tuscan meal. You can also buy the homemade produce to take home with you but also visit taste and buy the beer from the on-site de'Neri brewery. Free parking is provided and the property is a short drive from Lake Boracifero. You are well placed for exploring the surrounding picturesque towns such as Massa Maritima. Piombino is 40 minutes' drive away for ferries to Elba Island.

San Ottaviano is 10 minutes' drive from the town of Monterotondo and the medieval village of Suvereto. The Tuscan coast is 30 minutes away by car.

: Location si nice as well breakfast
: - no air-conditioning, no tv, few power plugs for devices - room (#8) was quite dark with small windows - little flexibility from staff (our car was broken and it was quite difficult to convince the staff to arrange for a simple cold dinner without a restaurant reservation)

: Great location, remote enough to feel you are away from it all, but close enough to visit the seaside and hiking routes.
: The only area I would like to see improved is daily (or otherwise regular) housekeeping. Whilst everything was in good order when we arrived, clean sheets, towels etc, there was no housekeeping provided by the host. For a stay of over a week, that wasn't enough unfortunately and despite our best efforts (limited by lack of cleaning products and changes of sheets), the place got somewhat dirty towards the end. Not suggesting that there is a need for a daily clean, as I support the "organic farm" ethos, however for a stay over 5 days, there should be a change of sheets and a general clean provided for the apartment.
