Located within the A1 Autostrada del Sole Service Station in West Montepulciano AMG Hotel Grifo is the only Italian hotel with direct access to the A1 motorway southbound. It offers free parking and rooms with free Wi-Fi. Hotel Grifo is set between the valleys of Valdichiana and Valdorcia. It is 700 metres from the train station and 10 km from Montepulciano famous for its red wine.
Lake Trasimeno is a 30-minute drive away while you can take the old Via Lauretana to reach Siena Arezzo and Cortona.
