: The hosts were really helpful and gave us great recommendations for restaurants as well as information about the local area. The rooms were really clean and well equipped with AC. The hosts were always available by text should we need anything. It was also nice to be in a more authentic small town with a lovely beach, as the crowds of tourists in the nearby towns were overwhelming. Breakfast each morning was delicious and made with ingredients from their garden which gave us a lovely, traditional experience. I always enjoyed my morning chats with Chris! Would definitely recommend if you are looking for something more local.
: Our flight didnt arrive until 9pm and the hosts charge an extra 40 euro for checking in after 9.30. There was also no trains at this time so it would have cost 130 to arrive by taxi. Because of this we ended up staying a night in Napoli which cut our trip short a bit. Not totally the hosts fault, but the 40 euro extra fee is a little annoying.

: The location was pretty well, we enjoyed the quietness. The room was clean. The hosts were responsive and booked the activities and taxi we requested, those were very nice.
: The breakfast was really bad, nothing to choose from and the portions were very small. 5 eggs and one tomato for all of the guests. If you skip a day of breakfast, you can still see what the other guests had yesterday. If you want an authentical italian coffee, then this place is not for you, that's because the only thing you can do with that coffee is wash dishes. There wasn't any cheese, meat, fish or vegetables. Only flour, flour and again flour in different types of options. Only one option of cereal for kids. It's a biological farm but the yogurt is very synthetic. On booking it says that it's a non smoker room, but in reality the cleaning ladies are smoking all the time, so you can't leave your window open, if you go out, that's because the room is gonna stink like you have smoked a full pack of cigarettes. It's a really big issue, especially travelling with kids who are forced to become passive smokers. They didn't change towels and toilet paper often enough. If you leave air conditioner you get sticky notes all over your room. If you go out in such a hot weather, you want to arrive in a cool good air. The same with body oil and sunscreen, that you can't apply in the bathroom, that's because you are about to stain the floor. Then I have only one question, what's the point of the cleaning ladies who come everyday? In my opinion, that's unacceptable and ruins the joy of your trip. All the time the hosts said that you can talk with them and if you have any problems they will help to solve the problems. After saying that the breakfast was unpalatable and gross, their attitude completely changed.

: The breakfasts were super lovely relaxed affair with products from the farm. The accommodation was situated up a small flagged alleyway and was extremely secure and quiet with places to sit in the courtyard either in shade or sun. Chis was assiduously in replying to emails and arranged a very efficient and cheap pickup from Meta station when we arrived. This was really welcome at the end of a long day travelling by bus ferry foot and train carrying our luggage -highly recommended. We wished we had stayed longer. As it was we spent a day in Herculaneum- so accessible and relatively quiet (this was in September), a day by car to the Amalfi Coast organised by Chris with pickup at the Casa. Also a simply super day recommended by Chris using local buses to Massa Lubrense and the Queens Bathing Pool which involved a decent walk. A really lovely place to stay with quite delightful hosts. Thank you
