  : The property is located right in front of the beach. There is a direct bus from right outside to Sorrento (about 1hr long journey), as well as very good boat tours you can do to Amalfi coast or Capri from right outside which the hotel helps organise, but best to book in advance. The location is quite remote and quiet otherwise even in high season. Theres only a few good restaurant options really. All of the staff were very nice and helpful, but hotel stay is definitely overpriced in this location unfortunately.
  : Our room had shoe footprints on the wall, a quick wipe with a wet cloth would clean it off. Makes it seem lazy when its not even attempted to been cleaned.The housekeeping staff also didnt restock any body wash or soap for a 4 night stay.

  : The rooms are spacious and well equipped, the balconies are nice (for the ones with the view). The breakfast is pretty good, the ricotta was to die for. Once upon a time, this hotel was probably really nice with a great view.
  : Told there were no available rooms available to then find out there were. Quoted astronomic prices then reduced by 25% when we said no thank you to the first rate. Upon our arrival late at night the personnel was reasonable. Never really friendly but correct. One person from the front desk in particular was difficult during our stay, and managed to upset 2 normally very respectful and patient collegues with his approach. We paid extremely high rates for a hotel in dear need of remodeling (bathrooms really old fashioned, old style cabin shower with mold, one of us had a clogged sink the first day). We booked the hotel, so we didn't complain. To be 'scolded' 3 times on the last day for not telling them we had a car (someone helped us from the car for our luggage upon arrival) parked in the public space in front of the hotel instead of using the garage (which was never offered to us but of course would have been charged...) when we were hurrying to get out to our flights, being told it's all ok with the invoice and then being told last minute there are actually charges. Bottom line: expensive, old fashioned, not rude but just not friendly, and never answering calls or emails after our departure when I wanted something. Clearly this hotel associates 'hospitality' with 'money making', not customer service.

  : From the check in right through to the departure this place is a total let down. It is definitely not four star. We paid for a junior suite which was a joke. The only difference between this room and a cheaper room is the size of the room. The rooms are dated, smelly (maybe mold), we could hear everything in the neighbouring room from our bathroom. The small balcony is not private and overlooks a car park. Every time we left the room via removing the electronic key the a/c turned on. When we complained about the room soon after check in, the hotel did nothing and could not care.The breakfast was under average. The hotel booked a shared boat tour to Amalfi and Positano on our last day with their tour partner two days in advance and when we arived for the tour, we discovered it had been cancelled. We suspect it was cancelled due to the numbers not being enough as the wind and weather forecast was for very good weather. The hotel blamed the tour partner and the tour partner blamed the hotel for not advising us. The end result was that the same tour by road (basically taxis to and from) organised by the hotel instead of boat cost four times as much (400euro) and we lost half the day. We asked for a late check out (one hour) and we were advised that the hotel "does not offer this service, even for half an hour". The pool is a joke with booking and payment (minimum spend) required, even for a junior suite guest. What was even more strange was that I discovered that a review was falsely posted in my name for my stay rating the hotel an "Excellent 10". We will never go back to this place and recommend that you stay away from it. At Euro525 per night for the end of September, this place is a rip off.

  : The idea of it.
  : The fact that where is a ton of hidden costs not explained in booking from the pool costing money, to the 80% mandatory service charge on top of your food if you order room service, horrible location and difficult to get too. the staff is for the most part absolutely terrible. This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at and Ive stayed at a motel 6 in America, (yuck). If they paid me 100 euro per night just to stay here after that experience I would not.

  : Great location with good views and close to the beach. Staff helpful on the whole. Would describe as an authentic hotel which felt fitting for the type of holiday we were looking for . Good breakfast each morning. Beach towels available at no extra cost.
  : Only minor points but they added up - Unfortunately when we arrived the room smelt of cigarette smoke. The staff did look into it but it wasnt resolved and they didnt offer any mitigation/ compensation. - you pay extra for use of the pool.- parking is an additional cost. - hotel nice but generally seems a little dated. - spa/ sauna is additional cost. - no iron in room and you have to ask at reception where it appeared they only had one iron/ ironing board in the whole hotel. - we requested a later check out (1 hr later) but this was declined.

  : Convenient bus stop that takes you to Sorrento so you can access other parts of the Amalfi coast.
  : The property was clean, my only two complaints are that housekeeping would always leave my room windows open after cleaning my room, this would allow bugs into my room since the windows do not have any screens. The shower drain was also pretty slow so the shower floor would often fill up which is gross.

  : Paying to access the pool. Showing up to the pool and was told it was closed even though it had 30 minutes left of it being open. Shower would flood and not very warm water. Beds are not comfortable.
