  : Fantastic location in the heart of the city. Friendly and welcoming host. Comfortable apartment that has everything needed even for longer stay.
  : Could not get around air conditioner, maybe was not working or I was not able to set to operate. Stayed 1 night so did not bother too much.

  : The location in the historic part of Genova is quite okay but loses its charm due to noisy police car sirens, shocking loud car alarm systems at night, noise made by drunken pedestrians, non stop music coming from the loudspeakers of the fish bar the entire day.
  : Substantial and severe problems with hygiene and security ( cockroach infestation and door lock unsafe) and landlord does not solve the problems but ignores them. 1.) There are cockroaches running around during the daytime which leads to the conclusion that there is a heavy infestation since cockroaches are nocturnal insects. 2.) The door lock is unsafe because one cannot turn the key neither inside nor outside to lock the door safely. If you do so a problem occurs no later than the second day of your stay. I asked the landlord to fix it but he answered that I should not lock the door any more and he left. You cannot leave any valuable things in the appartment and you do not feel safe during nighttime. The landlord does not solve the problem. He doesn't care at all. 3.) The appartement is also not recommendable because of various noise sources, as stated before, and the disgusting smell of grease coming from the fish restaurant and the rotisserie right underneath the apartment. 4.) The apartment is quite dark and there is no air conditioning. 5.) The kitchen is only sparsely equipped: no bottle opener, no tea towels, only 1 wine glass, no gas stove lighter (I had to buy everything and left it there) 6.) The landlord is only profit driven, unpunctual, not caring to solve the problems for the needs of his customers. He is instantly becoming inappropriate as soon as you complain about sth. 7.) Not on time for the keys.
