  : Family run, old world style, and a fabulous location. Even though my room was on a pretty big street, it wasnt noisy. The bed was wonderful, hard like most beds in Italy. I slept very well

  : It was close to main Train Station and quite close to the Dome and various main attractions.
  : The lift was an uncomfortable experience. Rooms and amenities could have been cleaner.

  : Our room was not clean to our standards, and the room also had a mold and sewage smell that I could not handle. We werent able to even stay. The reception closes at 7pm so leaving without staying was tricky, we tried contacting reception before their closing hours and received no response. When we came back to actually stay the smell was so much worse. So dropped the keys in the drop box and sent a message explaining or situation. They were reasonably accommodating and gave us grace of our room fee back. Giving we werent even able to stay one night and the room wasnt clean anyway(there was body hair in the sheets) I do believe a full refund should have been issued.

  : Location was good, very close to the station. And the check in experience was very easy
  : Room had a weird smell, the bed sheet were not very good and the overall hotel structure was very old. On top of that, the elevator did not work and we had to carry our bags three flights of stairs

  : Old style bedding, shabby looking. No curtain in the bathroomwith windows directly opposite.

  : Great location. Convenient walking distance to Piazza del Duomo (Cathedral of Santa Matia del Fiore) Academia Gallery (Michelangelo's David), Uffizi Gallery. And Ponte Vecchio Bridge -- along with the many great restaurants and shopping in the heart of Florence.
  : Accommodations in the heart of the prime tourist area of Florence can be "cozy" (i.e. compact). So certainly not palatial, but our ensuite bed & bath was clean, quiet, and perfect for a quick overnight visit for tourists exploring some of Italy's famous attractions.
