  : PROS: -Location is just 5 minutes away from the Duomo- Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore -The lane is full of Restaurants & Cafeteria -Less than 10 minutes from the main train station -The room have the basic facilities and the bed was quite comfortable -The owner is very pleasant and accommodating to ensure a comfortable stay -The price is right -Very near to the Mercato centrale (a place one must visit) -Will certainly recommend this place for a brief stay in Florence

  : the room had two beds.
  : It was basically a hostel, just our room had a bathroom. However, the shower had the wirst water pressure, the showerhead just trickled water. Also, this place advertised parking when I booked months in advance, but when I asked the host about it, she would never get back to me. You cant enter Florence without a code from your hotel and since Soggiorno Venere is not a hotel, they cant give you a code for parking. they have since removed that comment on booking.com, but its still up on others like TripAdvisor. The host is terribly unreliable, she was late for check in and was not available to other people who were wondering the stairway because they couldnt work the code to open the door. she just said, its not my problem. This establishment is NOT worth the money they charge!! also, the advertised breakfast is a kettle and some Nescaf packets.

  : The location was very central and good for wandering Florence, the host was lovely and very friendly and welcoming - answered any questions we had and made it a great stay in Florence. It was decent value for money too.

  : The host was super supportive - excellent level of communication -before, during, and even after my stay. She allowed me to arrive outside the check in time, making sure that I am happy and comfortable. She also allowed me to keep my luggage in the hotel for some time after check out. She speaks several languages and her English is superb. The cleanliness of the room was at the highest standard -cleaning and towel change every day. I would like to highlight the best thing about this hotel - a close proximity to all city attractions.
  : It is not about not liking - it is just for future guests to be aware - they need to think about mosquito protection. There were just a few at the time of my stay but it could make a night sleep very uncomfortable.

  : The location was excellent, walking distance from the city center. Also close to tram station. The hostess was very helpful, had easy late check in. The ac was not working well, but the hostess arranged a fan, and it was good.
