  : the bathroom was DISGUSTING - full of mould, peeling paint, rust & the shower doesnt drain. wifi didnt work in the master bedroom.

  : Super close to Ponte Vecchio and a supermarket. Walking distance to the major highlights including the Duomo, Uffizi, Palazzo Vecchio. Kitchen had a good stovetop and the place was large and has history. The apartment is located on the entry level of the building so you don't have to drag your bags far and there are no steps to get into the ground floor of the apartment (there are internal stairs). Representative from Sweetstay met us at the door and showed us through the apartment, she was lovely and knowledgable. We had an issue that a toilet seat and the shower head were broken and unusable, we contacted Sweetstay and we appreciated how quickly they responded and these were replaced quickly and without fuss. There is a working washing machine, the portable line is partially broken but we could manage to do washing.
  : The main bed was very uncomfortable unless you like springs digging into your body while you attempt to sleep! The other bed is okay-ish. The WIFI is really really bad with only one of us able to use it at a time, we did speed checks and got a max of 6.5mb download with an upload speed of 0.2mb however the poor latency made it almost impossible to use! A child wanting to watch you tube and a husband wanting to send emails for work - DID NOT work, even when they both sat next to the router only one could have access at a time. This issue has been reported so hopefully will improve for the next guest. Upstairs we expect the WIFI to be terrible as the walls of the building are so thick (hence why they were both sitting next to the router). Please note, that there is 1 full bathroom (complete with black mould, too small shower curtain and squished mosquitos on the wall). The second bedroom needs to access the only shower by walking through the main bedroom - it wasn't an issue for us but could be for others. The second bedroom is a loft that overlooks the entry and is VERY noisy when the neighbours come in and out of the apartment building (and they come and go at all hours!) if you are a lighter sleeper or young kids then the loud banging of the building's entry door and noise of people coming and going is something to consider if you need to use this second loft room. The furniture in the apartment is old (looks much better in the pictures!). The fake white leather on the couch and dining room chairs is flaking and coming off as it's so old - I would often find these flakes on my clothes or skin if I leant against the chair arm. This apartment could be great if the owners spent some money on furniture (you could probably save the dining table but everything else should go) maybe some paint and getting rid of the extremely dusty curtains in the lounge room that don't do anything anyway.
