  : It was a good location and reasonably clean.
  : The only way to lock the apartment from the inside is by using the old skeleton-type key. There is no deadbolt or chain. The key works perfectly fine unlocking the door from the outside, but is incredibly difficult to open from the inside. The first morning it took us 10-15 minutes to get the door open and we were late to our museum reservation. The second morning, we were trapped in the apartment for nearly 3 hours waiting for assistance. It caused us to miss multiple trains and cost us 200-300. When the woman arrived to let us out, the door unlocked fine from the outside (as it always did for us) and she told us theres nothing wrong with the lock. We said they need to let future guests know about this and add another way to lock the door from inside the unit and they said theres no reason to fix the lock when its working. She did not understand that the lock works perfectly fine from the outside but not the inside. So they refused to help compensate the lost train tickets or address it for the next guests.

  : The location is situated in the touristic heart of Florence. The apartment was warm.
  : Most of the utilities in the room are there just so they can say there are there. For example, there is a capsule based coffee machine, but without at least 1 coffee capsule. There is stovetop espresso which you can't use because it isn't compatible with the induction stove. Of the 6 pans, only 2 can be used with the induction stove. The TV is working, but no available stations to look at. NONE. There are only a few racks for clothes, and none for a coat. The host should make a small investment in some appropriate kitchen tools such as: a silicone spatula, a corkscrew, water glasses, a saucepan for induction stove, and some coffee capsules, just to give an example. Overall, the apartment has a unclean appearance because there are spider webs on the ceiling, footprints on the walls the bathroom ventilator hasn't seen a cleaning in his life and also the curtains; there is mold around the bathtub, the shelf in the bathroom is all rusty. The towel support is just for picture, don't try to put something there, it will fall. A rigorous cleaning and a small renovation will resolve all these and I am sure only good things can happen after that. I hope the host will make these changes and the next guests will experience a very pleasant stay, one that will worth 150 per night.
