  : The apartment's location is accessible and historic. It is located on a stop of the tourist bus route. Has a few good eateries and shops around the spot.
  : To begin with, the pictures posted on the listing are completely FALSE as we realized after checking in. The pretty bedroom with a balcony and a view is NOT what you will get. There is hardly any furnishing, no curtains, no covers on tables, no cover on the blanket, no extra pillows except two very limp ones.The building is old but also severely dilapidated. The elevators have signs outside that say "f*****g close the doors", which feels very aggressive at a hospitality location. The apartment we were given, was a cluster of 4 apartments. And the common door to it was ALWAYS left open.With no prior information we were ushered in to a drawing room with a fold out sofa bed. It was dirty and creaked on the slightest touch. There is a connecting door from the room to what is presumably the bedroom where another family could be heard, loud and clear.The AC was whining loudly when turned on and we pointed it out to Viola, the representative. She acted as if it is a new occurrence and said it would be fixed in an hour. They had a smoke detector that was beeping every minute which they came to fix 4 hours after the complaint.The AC wasn't fixed on the day, nor the day after. On the contrary, we found it extremely annoying that people were entering our apartment in our absence everyday. We didn't get wardrobes to keep our belongings so we left them in a room inside which also didn't lock, only to find out both days that the inside doors were left open, while there was no need for anyone to go inside on either day.It was much later that we found previous reviews of the AC not working. So the entire 'concern' shown to us was farce. We decided to turn on the AC the next day, and let it run for an hour. The floor beneath started gathering a pool of water so we eventually turned that off too. At temperatures like 32 degrees. It is safe to say that we didn't sleep well for two nights.

  : Good location; spacious and clean room
  : Sofa bed right next to the entrance door; poor soundproofing (bars in the neighbourhood play loud music until late). As requested I informed about arrival time (between 2 and 3 in the afternoon) and called from SMN train station around 1.30 to confirm; given the queue for a taxi it took more than the time extimated by the guy I spoke to on the phone to get to the accommodation. As he had to go somewhere else to meet other guests, he kept calling and wasn't there when we arrived. Not a problem, I understand. What I didn't appreciate was the attitude when he arrived, annoyed and stroppy. I work in the same industry, I understand the pressure, still not a very pleasant welcome.

  : the apartment was comfortable and well located within easy reach of the Arno and Duomo. it was a good size and felt spacious and very private and safe.
  : perhaps a few more mugs/glasses. I couldnt work the washing machine, perhaps some instructions. also the iron didnt heat up sufficiently, fault or, again, more instructions needed.

  : Beautiful space in an amazing location. The property was equipped with everything you could possibly need. A home away from home.
  : It was very noisy at night due to the people on the streets below, and the people in the apartment next to us being loud until the very early hours of the morning.

  : The location was a great distance from attractions and restaurants. The apartment was big and wifi worked well. That is all we can say on the good.
  : The apartment was extremely loud, we did not sleep well the 4 nights we stayed (and I normally sleep through everything) so we were very disappointed overall. We could hear everything from outside and the neighbouring apartments, some we're partying at 12am and again at 5am and glass bins were emptied at night outside. The bed was a sofa bed and also loud when turning. There was something left in the bin that made the place smell, other than that the place was very clean though. The staff was a bit rude and very unprofessional, we communicated arrival time and still got lot of calls before arrival which was unnecessary. When we then arrived and tried to call, we could not get a hold of them. Once we were shown to the apartment, we were insisted to get cash for the city tax which we could not pay by card unless we left our card details with a stranger who was operating on their personal phone. They also took photos of our passports which seemed to be their personal phone which seems extremely unrelialable. I hope these images off our IDs will be deleted. We will not be staying again.
