  : The hotel is located at the road out of Dorgali in the direction of Nouro and Olbia. Still, the area is quiet and you are effectively walking distance from Dorgali city centre (though there is nothing special there other than pizza cafeterias and supermarkets). The breakfast was due to the Covid-situation a bit downsized in terms of choice and staff manning the situation. Diner was okay though we didn't see why we could only take a menu-a-la-carte after nine as it was not that crowded. However, we could also take the daily menu (three courses in three variations) which was served from 7:30 pm onwards (mostly for guests on half pension). The food was always good and service in general was okay. Apart from the troubles with corona during our stay which they managed correctly and to the best of their capabilities we suspect that this hotel doesn't in general raise above just an average standard of service and hospitality.   : The room we had they claimed we had been given an upgrade from the lowest prized version - was sufficiently large, with enough space for your wardrobe and suitcases. It had a small balcony that was perfect in the morning with a view on the mountain range. The air-conditioning did barely cool down the room, so we switched to natural cooling from the outside mountains most of the times. Lighting in general was too soft (eco-friendly) for good reading (except those at the bedside) or shaving. Shower was modern, hot and good. On the other hand, the chairs in the room were old-fashioned wooden type that were too low for sitting at the desk (or too small for sitting relaxed at all). The indoor swimming pool is in the basement with three chairs in a small sized area around it. There is no possibility to sit outside in the sun after swimming. Due to the situation you needed to reserve it on an hourly basis, so with hardly any natural light or relax possibilities one hour was certainly enough.

  : The hotel is located at the main road on the boarder of Dorgali with a breathtaking view of the surrounding valley. Our room in the new building was spacious and clean and had a nice balcony with even a deck chair. However, not all rooms have deck chairs. The staff is super friendly and helpful and also caters for special requests. Make sure to visit the roof top terrace with almost 360 views of the surrounding valley, although please note that there is no bar and no umbrellas so during daytime in summer you will not last long up there. Breakfast is OK but compared to other 4 star hotels it could have a bit more variety. It is mostly sweet with scrambled eggs apparently only on weekends. Also breakfast is only served inside although they would have a nice terrace as well. But when asking to sit outside, it was possible for us. Parking is conveniently right in front of the hotel entrance. Cala Gonone is only a few minutes away by car and so is Restaurant Ispinigoli with a breathtaking view from the terrace when dining. All in all we enjoyed our few nights at the hotel
  : You can see that the hotel struggles a bit with After-Corona and inflation problems. The AirCon for example is shut off during the day and only activated in the afternoon down to a certain temperature. The indoor pool is basically no use in summer when temperatures rise to 36 degrees centigrade. However, I see huge potential for the hotel when for example tidying up the rooftop terrace for sundowners or serving breakfast on the ground floor terrace. It is a good and authentic choice if you don't want to stay in way too touristy Cala Gonone.

  : The hotel has a good location between the mountains and the beaches. With a little local knowledge about which were the best beaches and how long and hard the hill walks were we would have had a great time. But the 2 staff on reception were work experience students from other cities who did not know the area. We had an ok time but it felt like a missed opportunity.

  : Spotlessly clean, very helpful staff. The pool was lovely and refreshing for a swim on the hot days. Breakfast was a hit for the kids, lots of sweet cakes and pastries. Fabulous views!!

  : Fabulous artwork through out by local artists of late 20th century and also 21st.View was stellar. Very good breakfast. Host was very well informed about the area and helpful.
