: Staying in lodge was a unique experience
: There are number of things that we did not like about this property namely the host. 1) Snow-mobile: During the snow season, the lodge is only accessible by snow mobile, which the host has to take you on. It costs 50 euros per way to get anywhere outside of the lodge e.g for dinner or to get into town (one shuttle service return Inc in your stay). On our first night, we arrived on a Sunday and were starving. We asked our host to take us to any restaurant and it was in the evening, however his behaviour made us feel like we were a nuisance for asking him to take the snow mobile to the restaurant which we paid for! 2) We are 4 big guys hence we booked a place with 3 rooms. However on arrival the host had kept one room locked and refused to open it when we has asked as this was have incurred an 'a cleaning charge' which we pay for in our fees anyway!!!! His words were 'im running a business' p.s. it was not cheap! However on booking.com it was advertised as 3 rooms. 3) The coffee pods: 4 coffee pods were provided for our 6 day stay for 4 guys for the total duration of the trip. When we asked whether we can have more, it was met with distain as if 'how could we have possibly already finished the 4 coffee pods on day 5!'. We bought our own coffee also but had finished that. 4) Host - generally speaking every thing we asked the host for, no matter big or small Inc washing up liquid, was met with sarcasm or witty distasteful remarks which made our whole stay unpleasant. It was as if we were unpaid guests overstaying our welcome. Please avoid at all costs. Personally I would to stay in Aosta or Courmayur (which were cheaper!) Don't be fooled the 'experience'.
