Set in the Murgia’s countryside along the SP32 road linking Turi to Castellana Masseria Gravelle offers a Puglia restaurant summer pool and free Wi-Fi. Located in the renovated horse stables rooms have a verandah. A sweet buffet breakfast with homemade cakes jams and freshly baked bread is served daily. The Masseria Gravelle’s restaurant is open for dinner and includes a bar selling drinks.

The spacious air-conditioned rooms have a direct entrance from the garden while most face the pool. With wrought-iron beds they have a fridge TV and fully equipped bathroom. Guests can swim in the free pool surrounded by a paved terrace and leafy trees. Bike can be rented on site.

The Castellana Caves are a 10-minute drive away while the Monopoli and Polignano’s beaches on the Adriatic Coast are about 25 km from the property.

: The restaurant area is stunning, our best moment in this place was a dinner al fresco in the garden under the sky. Good food despite a very limited menu.
: The aim of our trip was to have 2-3 days of relax and work remotely in the countryside after a very hectic week. We were quite impressed by the poor reception received from the place as we had to wait over 15 min in front of the gate while trying to call the 2 numbers provided in the booking, without any response. No apologies were given and I was actually told that it was our fault for not providing a time of arrival while booking!! In addition, given the remote location, the connection with internet and phones in general was very bad which made impossible to work during these 2 days. But the worst part of all, after a day touring the Valle d'itria and returning at the masseria around midnight, we realised that there was an event (40th bday of an external guest not staying in the hotel) in the garden with music and people talking loudly in front of the rooms. When calmly we asked at what time the event would end, we were told at the latest at 0.30am. After several requests to end the party/lower the music, the party ended at 2am ruining our chance of an early night (given we had to drive 9 hours the following day!) While I can totally understand the business need to take external events, I found extremely unacceptable that no prior notice was given, no apologies for the inconvenience and even worst no compensation for causing us a 4 hours sleep. Overall, very disappointing stay for a price of 100 euro per night which would have offered much better options in even less remote locations.
