  : No breakfast. Location very good . Santo very helpful!
  : I didnt notice there was no a/c and was like 88*. No choice but to keep window open and noise was relentlessquite around 3 am. Very little sleep for 2 days. Also steep stairs. Description didnt say 3 floor no elevator.

  : That is nice and cosy apartment. Located very close to all main attractions. Friendly and polite owner, hes explained us everything you need to know about city.

  : Beautiful place with a great history. Owner - Santo is such a helpful and amazing person. He owns the place with big rooms, well equipped kitchen, wonderful terrace and many works of arts. Bathroom in like-new condition.

  : Loved the warm reception from Santo. He went out of his way to introduce us to the city. It's obvious he is passionate about Sicily and his homeland, and this really contributed to our great experience in Catania. This was a unique place to stay and, as long as it's not too hot out, a great value for the money. Despite not having A/C or breakfast provided, the pro's outweighed the con's of staying here. Thank you Santo!!
  : No A/C - this was indicated on booking.com, but I missed the absence of the "snowflake" sign when making a reservation. It was very warm when we got there, but we ended up spending hardly any time in the room because we were out exploring so much. No breakfast either, also indicated on booking.com, but I did not realize it until we got there. We joked, the other "B" in B&B stands for bathroom!

  : Santo was super friendly, and clearly makes great efforts to make everyone feel at home. The building is historical, and he does share this history with you, with old furnishings and classic style. The location doesn't feel at all touristic and yet it's full of local life.
  : No substantive complaints. Sure, it'd be nice to have air conditioning, but he clearly states that it doesn't have any up front. The neighborhood is pretty cool, but it's a little bit of a walk to the major sites. Finally, and this is a linguistic qualm, but to my mind, B&B does imply Bed & Breakfast. It's not used literally anymore (look at Airbnb, obviously), so it's fine -- one does have full access to the kitchen and as much coffee as one would like, and honestly it's better to go spend a couple euro for a pastry at the local bakery, anyway, but to my mind it should be called a hotel or homestay, not a B&B.
