  : Very convenient for the city centre and the train station. A very spacious room in a first floor apartment in a quiet street, just 15-minute walk from the train station, and an immaculate communal stairs. A giant bed with a comfortable mattress, plenty of wardrobe space, en-suite shower room and a lovely coffee in the morning. A very friendly host Alessandro was flexible about our arrival time, gave us good directions, recommendations and kindly booked us a taxi (btw, if 2 or more people are travelling from or to the airport it's cheaper, quicker and much more convenient to use a taxi!). Alessandro has a few books on Bologna and the area that you can flip through and you can even borrow one of his many umbrellas (not that you really need one when in town with all those porticoes covering the marble pavements).All in all, a lovely accommodation in a beautiful city! Thank you!
  : There aren't armchairs or chairs in the room which we found a little inconvenient because we had to sit on the bed before actually going to bed at night. Also, if you like to read while in bed there was only not so bright a bedside light on one side of the bed. The other side had neither a bedside table nor a light. I understand that the bed can be made into two single beds on request but the room is really big, so additional furniture could easily fit in. As it is, the room is really designed for sleeping only, but those small changes could make it even more convenient. These are minor things though and didn't affect our overall very enjoyable stay.
