  : The rooms were spacious and clean. There was complimentary water in the rooms. The pictures on booking.com matched what we got.
  : When we arrived there was only one bed, the booking was for three beds. I had to call and get someone to come and open the other bedroom and make up the other two beds. While the advert on booking.com says that breakfast is included, it is not provided in the same building and you have to walk somewhere else and use vouchers left in the room. The shower was problematic as the water doesn't drain properly, so you can only run it for about 20 seconds then you have to turn it off and let it drain, then repeat the cycle over and over until you are finished. Also in the bathroom there is no toilet roll holder so it sits on the floor in a little saucer.There is air conditioning but only in the double room so it doesn't really cool the whole place.I was expecting a hotel rather than a room, this might have been my error from reading the website or maybe the website was misleading, but be aware this is a room in an unstaffed building.

  : Our Deluxe room was gorgeous - very trendy looking and stylish and clearly well-thought out when it was renovated. Having an upstairs and downstairs area gave a sense of separateness for myself and my mum. I loved the electric blinds and window in the skylight and overall vibe of the place. I had chosen this room as it said a king and a single, however, the set-up was so that CasaZavi required to know this in advance, so there was not the extra bed in place (it's assumed two adults want to share). However, Phillip was able to fix the issue quickly bringing in the single bed, so I didn't have to share with my snoring mum. I LOVED the breakfast vouchers as it eliminates food waste. The cafe offered a range of pastries and panini. CasaZavi is in the thick of town, restaurants are close, and it's about a 10-minute walk from the train and bus station.
  : If you are light sensitive, bring an eye mask as on both levels, there is a temperature in bright, bold numbers that I couldn't figure out how to turn off and it disrupted both of our sleeps. If there is an off switch, it would be helpful to know how to do it to eliminate this problem. The deluxe room is suited to couples. The bathroom is upstairs in the bedroom, meaning anyone in the single bed has to come up (and likely turn on lights) and the shower is open and frosted glass without a door. The PowerPoints are bouncy so things don't stay in place (especially plugs with adaptors). I had to get my mum to hold in the hairdryer so I could use both hands to do my hair.

  : Beautifully decorated rooms with comfortable beds & good shower. Excellent location, close to the rest of our group in a nearby hotel.
  : No hand-wash, but used the body wash. No bog deal though!
