: The terrace was awesome, the shower was nice, and breakfast was great.
: Our terrace light was flickering and on night one we didnt have chairs on the balcony until we borrowed from the breakfast area.

: We booked a junior suite with sea view and received a standard double bedroom with an extra bed with partial sea view. The bedroom isnt isolated at all and you hear everything going on in the hallway. There is a glass sliding door in the bathroom which makes the bedroom more suited for couples than friends.

: We would have liked to stay there, but our room got cancelled by the owner 5 days before the planned arrival
: It can happen, that a room is not available and has to be cancelled. But what is not ok: the owner never gave clear indications on a real, confirmed solution, although we kept asking. Two days before the planned arrival, he told us that he would reserve us a room in another hotel and we should cancel our reservation with booking and ask for a refund. We arrived at the reserved hotel, but no reservation was known and no room was available. We had to search for a new hotel at 5 pm . This is not ok, he misinformed us and booking. Also that we have to cancel the room by ourselves and take care of the refund instead of the owner, is not a proper customer treatment. It took a part of our holiday joy, having this unsure situation.

: Front beach locationRoom standards were very goodBreakfast was wonderful !!!! Compare to any other breakfasts we had.Avalo is very recommended if you plan to see Noto and Siracuza.
: The floor required wet cleaning from time to time, the rest were very very clean.
