  : The view from the hotel is stunning, overlooking Amalfi and located in a charming little town where the residents grow their own food. Silvio, his son and the entire hotel staff hosted us with consideration for all the small details, care and extraordinary kindness. The hospitality of Silvio and his son from the bottom of his heart. They remember names of all guests and know what you like to eat and drink. Food: The breakfasts are delicious and include fresh fruit from the garden, yogurt, omelets upon request, desserts prepared on site and excellent coffee. The dinners are excellent - everything is based on local agriculture and includes great starters, first courses and pastas and main courses. All fresh and delicious. Location: Located up a mountain in the Agerola area, a pastoral place and not flooded with tourists, but you will still find restaurants, bars, a good ice cream parlor. I preferred to come by car, it's a half hour drive from Amalfi (there is a toll, we didn't try) Rooms: The rooms are clean. There is air conditioning, soap and towels. Value Added: As soon as we entered we took a tour of the lovely farm where Silvio and the family raise farm animals, fruits and vegetables. The staff pampers us all the time and prepares independently according to our preferences, especially when it comes to food - remember exactly what we like to drink and eat and prepare for us Especially even without our asking. The farm is located above an amazing observatory, take a mat and fresh fruit and sit back and enjoy the view.

  : I wish I could better describe this place in words. The pictures and reviews (even though very good) still does not really encapsulates the people, property and location. Absolute amazing experience - from arrival to departure we were treated like family. The food is all home made and super traditional. Its a 10 min walk to town to catch the bus to get to Amalfi, but the walk has got a great view and really an amazing experience. We originally thought we would miss out by not staying in Amalfi, but this spot blew our expectations away. Value for money, great people and can only thank you for the memmories we made there.

  : We loved our stay! Silvio and his family and staff are very welcoming on their beautiful farm and go out of their way to make you feel at home. Food (breakfast and dinner) is abundant, yummie and affordable. Room was newly renovated and modern. Ample parking. Bus to Amalfi is 10 minutes on foot
  : Our room had only higher placed windows so we missed the gorgeous view, but minor detail since we could use the garden and viewpoint.

  : My husband and I,we have travelled all over, but this time we wanted to stay away from the hustle and bustle. THIS WAS THE BEST FARMHOUSE we had ever stayed!! Silvio the owner welcomed us as if in his house! Gaetano is the best person in the restaurant and Anna (Silvio's sister) the best chef! The food is organic. We talk about farm to table in Melbourne...but the food is great in Mare e monti!! We had so much choices in Amalfi, posetano, Atrani...but we always came here for dinner! You have to try ...well, everything in the menu!!We will definitely be back!And...the limoncello spritz!! I cannot... you have to try for yourselves!Silvio, Gaetano, Anna.... grazie grazie mille!!
