  : Birthday note, really really comfy beds, big bathroom and shower, chocolates in rooms, a la carte breakfast instead of continental is a huge plus point. Also loved the tables by windows for breakfast and the 3 course idea for breakfast - small bits of presentation that made a huge difference to the experience. Really delighted to have had such a great time and lovely lovely staff too. Interior design fab and insanely good value for money

  : Beautiful grounds, all the staff, food was very good, breakfast was great.
  : Arrived in the lashing rain, my husband had a knee replacement so we parked outside and he went in to the Hotel to check in. Our car was directly outside.I managed to get our yes rather large suitcase out if the cat but I presumed once some of the staff inside at the desk would come and help none of them did. That was a big no no for me. I was ashamed and in fact very upset about it. I then asked presuming someone would park our car especially as it was still lashing down. I was told we can’t do that we’re not and we’re not insured for that. I was astonished so my husband had to go back out and take the car and park in the car park. Very poor first impression. No-one showed us to our Suite we were just given a key. Not the welcome we expected.Faithlegg let themselves down here.Plus that night no heating as its Summer just a small towel rail in a large bathroom.Decided to call downstairs and a nice young man said he’d go to the attic and put the heating on in our room for a short time when he heard my husband was just not that long out of hospital. Plus the bathroom in the Suite needs a magnifying mirror somewhere so one can do their make-up. Also a four poster bed is fine, but you still must be able to see the TV. A young gent who serviced our room did the very best he could to make sure we could both see the matches on TV.
