  : We had a good stay at Victoria's house: very good sleep. Nice breakfast, the honey cake particularly. Victoria was helped us to plan our trip around the Ring of Kerry (we were glad we visited the places she recommended rather than following our initial plan). Good value for money. Great location.
  : Possibly, Internet. The house is located remotely, so mobile reception wasn't great and somehow WiFi connection was without internet. Not a major issue overall.

  : Amazing place to spend time with nature and family. Victoria was super welcoming and nice. Wonderful breakfast and lovely stay. Also, breakfast was high standard, she even prepared us a cake!

  : The setting is amazing - down in a canyon-like area hidden from nearby Cahersiveen and below a range of hills to the east. Surrounded by a very prolific temperate rainforest and next to a happily flowing creek, Victoria's is an unexpected delight. The home is lived in by Victoria and her family (from Ukraine), and several rooms are set aside and well appointed for guests. It's a quiet, unassuming and satisfying destination after a curving and ever-narrowing drive along tiny lanes. The grounds are beautifully planted and make a pleasant backdrop. Inexplicably, there is a world-class horticultural garden (Kells Bay House) and extensive grounds just down the road with one of the best Thai restaurants we have ever experienced - a recommendation we pass along from Victoria, who once lived in the main house on those grounds. (We never thought we'd be eating gourmet Thai food in Ireland, but wow!) One would never know that any of this exists - there are no signs or other indications in Cahersifeen or Kells, and one must have faith in the GPS to get there (Apple Maps worked perfectly.) A nice, Ukranian-influenced breakfast is served in your room, with a very particular and personable Victoria taking your detailed order (down to the specific number of slices of toast and pats of butter) as you check in. This stop was the surprise of our entire road trip.
  : No complaints... I would return in an instant -- this time I would leave enough time to tour the grounds of the gardens down the road before my dinner in the excellent Thai restaurant.
