The family-run Western Hotel is located in the heart of Galway just off Eyre Square. The property offer live entertainment in The Western Bar every Thursday Friday and Saturday night and hearty meals in The Western Restaurant each evening. Rooms at the Western have private bathrooms with baths showers and hairdryers. They also include tea/coffee making facilities. Cooked and continental breakfasts are served daily in the restaurant.
3-course evening meals are served and guests can enjoy a carvery a light lunch menu and an evening á la carte menu. Fine local produce is used in all meals. The bright and spacious Western Bar has a fine selection of drinks and shows major sporting events on large screen TVs. It also hosts regular live music and DJ’s. Guests also have access to the Snap Fitness gym for a surcharge of EUR 10 per session.

The required deposit is 50% at the time of booking and a further 50% deposit is required at least 2 weeks prior to arrival. The Western Hotel offers free underground Valet Car Park for all guests.
Guests checking into CityPoint Apartments are also asked to arrive for their check-in to The Western Hotel. They will be given further instructions at reception.
Please note that the car park operates under the supervision of a valet and should guests wish to use it, they will be asked to leave their car keys with him.
Directions to Hotel’s short term underground parking: Arriving from any direction, follow the signs to the City Centre and Eyre Square. Once on Eyre Square, take the road exiting the square at the top right-hand corner at Richardson’s Pub. Proceed onwards on the left lane. Pass TK Maxx, Galway City Council building and The Western Hotel and take the first turn left, then left again into St. Bridget’s Place. The underground car park is on the left, down the ramp.
For the line regarding parking "Free on-site, valet parking is available for all guests (height restriction is 2.2m) and Galway Bus and Train Stations are within a 5-minute walk" Can it be changed to Free on-site parking is available for all guests (one car per room)(height restriction is 2.2m) however all car keys MUST be left at reception as a condition to park with us.
