Disappointing
Traveller Type: Traveling as Couple
  : Wouldve loved to have stayed at the hotel, but our passports were stolen 2 weeks prior to our arrival and the hotel was not willing to work with us on a cancellation or credit for future visit. I understand the no cancellation fee, however knowing that there was limited availability in Dublin for our dates due to the Navy vs. Notre Dame football game, Im pretty sure they couldve resold our room. It wouldve been great customer service if they just worked with us on a solution that worked out for the hotel and the customer.

  : Location was amazing, as long as you are making the most of Dublins nightlife and don't plan on getting an early night.No hotel staff on site, but the staff in the bar below were very helpful and looked after our baggage with no concerns.The room had every facilities you'd need for a short trip, albeit the mini fridge was not working.Room was very clean, apart from the floor needing a decent scrub.Price wasn't great, but to be expected for Dublin at this time of year.All in all, we had a great stay.

  : NOTHING about this place is likable
  : The whole stay from the moment we checked in was painful to the end.After the payment went through and on the last minute they disclosed that there's a construction happening very close by and they give us earplugs for the noise. This should have been disclosed way before hand and in the listing so we could make our own decision to stay there or not. BTW we never got the earplugs promised.The apartment wasn't what it was advertised at all.The place was absolutely filthy dirty and stank of mould. Shower and windows were covered with mould and cobwebs.The aircon was sooooo dirty that was a health hazard.We had to complain as this wasn't acceptable at all and all we got was bunch of rude emails and a manager who didn't even want to face us. She didn't even bother to have a civilised conversation with us and was very dismissal.The room was advertised with a full proper fridge and all we had was a very noisy toy fridge that didn't keep anything cold. We had no cold drinks the whole time we were there.The bathroom fan doesn't work and room stank everytime we had a showerApparently they had a lot of people complaining about the fridge but just been ignored or called lairs.She constantly called us lairs and rude in the emails just because we wanted what we paid for.The apartment is right beside a pub and it's almost impossible to sleep specially Friday nights, with all the noise and live music happening till very late. Drunken people yelling and on top of that at 2am fire alarm went off and almost gave us a heart attack.They had cutleries in the room with glasses and a microwave but no plates, we supposed to put the food on what???There's no plug in the bathroom for hairdryer, they said that's the norm in Ireland but there was no mirror in the room either to see what you're doing with your hair so you have to just do it.We had to beg for fresh towels and send emails to be given fresh towels.

  : Location was fantastic, just round the corner from temple bar area
  : Boiler didnt work, so we didnt have hot water in the shower, we tried to ring that emergency number, but was off, so we texted that number, took ages to repair is a coffee machine, but no milk, and nobody tidied up or topped up coffee on the second day

  : The room was clean and nicely decorated. Great location for exploring the city
  : Sent an email on arrival due to faulty / broken items in the room, however did not receive any answer "Good afternoon, My partner and I are staying in Room 3 this weekend (checking out Monday 10th July) and whilst staying in the room we have noticed a few things are not working or as originally advertised Im afraid. The main/large flush on the toilet is not working and we are afraid to use this as a result. The kettle does not fully boil and cuts out half way through. The shower head/rail is not fixed to the wall properly and unfortunately can come loose when the water pressure is in full flow. Either hitting us whilst using it or splashing water into the bathroom. The room is lovely and clean and we are thoroughly enjoying our stay. However Im afraid we would like to discuss a partial refund as we do not feel as though we have been able to fully enjoy the use of the facilities as we expected? (Especially the toilet/shower). We would be around tomorrow morning to discuss this in person if anyone is around before we check out, although otherwise please give us a call on *********** or ***********.
