  : The common area was decent, my sister and I enjoyed spending our evenings there playing cards. Staff were friendly and helpful, which I was very appreciative of.
  : The bathrooms were not comfortable, for a couple reasonsfirst, they are mixed bathrooms, so when you go in, while still separated by stalls, both men and women can be in the stalls at any given time, simultaneously. I dont mind a shared bathroomwhen I can lock the door behind me and be the only person occupying it, as it feels more secure to me, but this was not that. I will say that Im grateful that they did have showers that were separate for male and female, be sure to find them instead of the shared ones that are in the bathrooms if you want to be able to shower with ample privacy and space for getting undressed and redressed, as the showers inside of the shared bathroom spaces are very smallyour clothes will get wet inside the stalls and you need a separate space for drying off and dressing.With that said, the bathrooms are a very high trafficked area by both men and women, but they are not cared for like they are highly trafficked. They smell, almost all the time. Cleaning charts posted on the doors show that at most, they get cleaned once a day.There are also too many beds in one room, making space incredibly limited. If one person needs in their suitcase, thats all the floor space there is practically. In addition, there are no privacy curtains on the beds, and no locking baskets underneath. If you wish to secure your bags, you have to rent a locker, and to keep your bags locked up for say, the few days we had, adds up quickly. We thankfully had travel locks for our bags, so we didnt utilize the lockers. I would recommend having luggage locks on all your bags. The WIFI was also not very reliable, and only weakly worked part of the time we stayed.Overall, I would not recommend this hostel. Of all the hostels Ive stayed in, this is the only one that left me wishing Id paid just a little extra for a hotel or B&B

  : Close to Cork city centre (10min walk). Standard hostel room and pretty big kitchen. Nice coffee shops 5min walk away
  : Wifi didnt work the entire stay. The bathrooms smelt (could have been cleaned more often). The showers also one had one hook to put your stuff, could use a shelf/bench.

  : Location was good everything needed was within 10-15 min walk. Bathrooms were clean and staff were really friendly and accomodating. Big kitchen with multiple sinks and fridges etc
  : It was lacking in a warm vibe. Didnt really facilitate socialising, the common areas werent very comfortable - the downstairs room could have some cushions or something instead of just hard wooden seats. The 8 bed dorm really is only big enough for 6 beds so its very tight. Showers were ok but annoying not being able to control the temperature and also being on a timer
