  : Good location in Kesthely: 15 minutes walk to the beach and 20 mins to the centre of town. Hosts were very friendly and willing to help, but this did not overcome the issues (see below)
  : The facilities were not really good enough: - The swimming pool was old and dirty, and the pump and filters were not running. It was not really usable, and this was the main reason we had booked this accommodation. - The garden shown in the pictures is quite big, but not when it had other guests cars parked in the middle. - The listing for the accommodation says that it takes credit cards: it doesn't. As they would only take Euros, I had to change GBP into FOR and then into EUR, which meant I lost a lot in currency fees. - The listing also says they speak Czech, German, English, French, Croatian ,Hungarian, Italian, Polish. This is not true. They speak Hungarian and a little German. We had to communicate in bad German, which made life difficult. - The kitchen is very small, with not enough room to even wash up properly. The cooker seems to date from the communist era, had to be lit with a match. The kitchen also smelt of gas till we turned it off at the main tap. Everywhere there were signs of trying to save money, from the ancient and mismatched crockery to the washing up liquid being watered down - Although the windows were small, the fact there were no curtains in the bedrooms, meaning the sun streamed in early in the morning. - When we arrived we were given just 4 hand towels for 4 people and no proper towels. We managed to get more, but this should not have been necessary. Overall, the place was very disappointing and represented poor value for money.
