  : Just an average apartment modestly furnished / a bit old furniture, definitely not a "Superior 4**** apartment" as was advertised.

  : The staff was kind and responsive for maintainance, Umag is a lovely city. We got fresh towels and toilet paper daily, they also emptied the trash daily. The apartment building is placed in a place full of trees so there's lots of shadow and it's not too hot. The view is to the sea and it's very lovely. There's enough parking space to not worry about your car and since we arived early they offered us to park the car inside and explore around while waiting. Wi-fi is working well. The apartment is good size for a family of 3 or more (enough play area in case of bad weather). The bedroom was okay and the living room equipment also. It's surprisingly well sound proofed as we barely heard neighbours. A beach is very nearby, but not the one we presumed we'd be close to and not one that's toddler-friendly. There are some restaurants near and a small playground. The tourist train station is almost at the entrance.
  : Upon arrival we were very disappointed about the location of the apartment. The main reason we booked it and were prepared to pay this amount of money was that Amforas are located next to Stella Maris marina and with that next to Laguna beach and all the kids activities, so we wouldn't need to walk too far. Well, Classic 2+2 apartments are actually located as far away from the Laguna beach and all the kids facilities as possible - next to hotel Aurora, away from other Amfora apartments. The only solution they had was to book a more expensive apartment for even less days.The apartment is in a desperate need of renovation. Our stove wasn't working which we found out in the morning when we tried for an hour to make breakfast (the water didn't boil at all, it only heated a bit). They fixed it in about an hour and a half though. The kitchen cabinets have a kind of musty smell that is really not pleasant. The fridge doesn't have a freezer. Balcony doors sometimes don't open and you have a try a few times. Two of the chairs were damaged, but thankfully still useful. Some sockets do not look safe as they're not screwed in the wall properly. There are traces of previous leakings on ceiling. We didn't manage to make the TV working and the phone wasn't working also, but we didn't need those.The toilet wasn't cleaned as it'd be expected from a 4-star resort (we fixed that with disinfectant wipes) and the bathroom is not only old fashioned but the faucets are full of limescale and the shower handle was also peeling or erosing.All in all - in previous years we stayed in an apartment only across the street that's probably about half the price of this one and way better maintained when it comes to kitchen and bathroom, and in even better apartments in Punta area that are in pretty much the same walking distance to Laguna beach.

  : It was really a pleasure to be in Amfora. The biggest advantage is hotel localization but in general I have not found anything wrong coparing quality and price.

  : The location was perfect for the ATP Tournament we came to attend with the family. We spent a whole week & loved every moment we spent at the place. The Beach is amazing with great facilities to spend the whole day: lots of natural shade; great food in the beach restaurant; great fast snacks, cocktails, drinks & ice-cream right at the beach front.
  : Cleaning the rooms was not at the level expected for this price. Staff was great and fast to respond upon requesting something for the room, but Sheets should be changed by the staff at least once per a week stay. The room & bathroom should be cleaned with trash picked up on daily basis or in two days at most, for this price-range!
