  : Classic old estate right on the ocean. Breakfast was very good.
  : Unfortunately the building has a mold problem, both on the stairs leading to the second floor (really bad) and in my room, probably others as well. The carpet looks decades old and is just nasty and probably hides the mold. Locals won't be able to detect it since they all smoke. Parking is also a pain.

  : Hotel ground is pretty and breakfast selections was nice.
  : Judging by reviews and photos, already had low expectation with a dated hotel. Reserved a single room and got Room 10, just off the reception. There is NO wifi in this room!!! When I asked the receptionist if I could be moved to a room with wifi, she said no, that everything was full. This is obviously not true since this was in end of Oct and there were just a handful of guests. She said I could use the public area for wifi. When I sat in the hallway outside my room for the wifi, I could get whiffs of mildew smell, very unpleasant. Next morning when I checked-out, there was a different receptionist and, again, I commented that there is no wifi in Room 10. Her response was, Oh, I know. WTF!!!! Why rent out that room at all then? I told her that the receptionist last night said there is no other room to move to, she looked down at her book and said that was not true, there were other rooms! At that point, I just had it with this place and couldnt run out of there fast enough! This single room with Garden View looks over the small parking lot which is by the main road, so plenty of car noise. While the hotel ground is lovely, it wasnt well kept. There were small pine cones everywhere, dropped from the trees. If stepped on, one can easily stumble and slip, especially on stairs. The Michelin restaurant maybe whats keeping this place alive, but no, have your meal and stay elsewhere.
