Disappointing

Traveller Type: Solo Traveler
: The location is absolutely great, 15 mins from the bus station and city center. The beach is right in front of the apartment and the view is great. There's a small coffee shop/eating place/bar right in front of it with great music. It's not noisy, but if you want, you're 10 minutes away from some party. Also, if you close the doors on the balcony, it's very silent. TV was working, bed was quite comfortable, bathroom looked recently renovated. There was a working fridge and the A/C came in handy for the heating (cold nights). (If you're a light sleeper like me, you might want to turn of the fridge during the night, it gets pretty loud.) There's a closet, night tables, also table and chairs for the balcony (or to be used indoors). There were clean towels and enough toilet paper. The apartment had big doors to the balcony so there was always fresh air. Also, male host was quite nice and helpful with explaining how the front doors work :D
: The faucet in the bathroom didn't work properly (shower was good though). There was either no water at all or a flood. There's only one small garbage bin in the bathroom. The carpets didn't look clean (although I've seen the host vacuuming other apartments). There was old water in the kettle. There are no glasses or cutlery. (So bring your own.) There's also no microwave. There are no shower gels or shampoo (which is not totally a negative, just a reminder to bring your own). There was no WiFi. I chose this apartment for (the location and) free Internet (cause I had to work) and I couldn't get it. I asked the host about it and she gave me most annoyed answer "my dear child, haven't you ever searched for the internet during summer season?" First of all, I'm almost 30 and second, this isn't public network. There are only few apartments using it and I couldn't get the thing I paid for. She didn't even try. I also asked if I could leave my stuff there after checkout (not in the room, but somewhere cause I had to wait for the bus) to which she said OK when I first got there, but on the day of the checkout she seemed quite annoyed with my request. (I did leave my stuff there, in the hallway, unattended..) Also, the hallway smells like Yugoslavia (my people will know what I mean haha).
