  : - Hotel Lika serves food and drink 24 hrs a day. The large foyer and the wide staircase leading to the guestrooms is tiled and produces loud echoes from conversations, to things being dropped, to chairs being moved. However, it's the hotel's loud music playing for the benefit of drop-ins at night that was the main problem in preventing me from sleeping. At midnight, after I had been trying to sleep for a couple of hours, the music was switched off; but at 01.30, it was turned on again. At this point, I asked the staff to turn it off, which they did. My room was by the staircase landing - room 11 would be the furthest and quietest room from the noise.- The lights above the bed didn't work and the only light in the bedroom was a ceiling light.
