  : We were met off the ferry and driven to the apartment. Louis the owner, spoke good English and helped to carry the cases to the room which was really appreciated as it was very warm when we arrived in September. LIke everywhere in Symi there are steps to climb but Penelope is not far from the road compared to many other apartments in the town. The room has amazing views over the harbour, town and surrounding bay. Sitting on the balcony watching the sun go down was made even more enjoyable due to the bustling harbour activity you can watch below. The agency (Jill) was very efficient, excellent comms and Maria cleaned the apartment twice during our six day stay. We were also picked up and driven back to the ferry at the end of our stay.
  : Although the water was hot every day it was only after the sun had warmed the water via solar panels. Hot water in the morning would have been better but this did not spoil our holiday and was a minor point.

  : The location and views were well worth the climb of steps to get there. The balcony/terrace was great to relax and see the whole harbour township. The apartment had everything I needed and suited me perfectly as a sole traveller although it would also work well for a couple. I was very grateful that I was met at the port and my suitcase carried up all those steps and also down again when I left.
  : There was the odd mosquito and although there was a device to plug in there weren't any tablets for it so had to buy them. I left the box so there should now be a good supply. Of course the steps to get to the apartment was challenging as is on many Greek Islands but you do get use to it.
