: The property was so close to the port. It was easy to walk everywhere. The room was lovely and airy, it was big and well equipped. The staff organised a transfer for me from the port and were really helpful with information about Symi.
: This is such a small thing, but because the property is near a road, it can get a bit noisy. Sometimes my sleep was interrupted, but I am a light sleeper. Some real plants in the room (rather than the fake ones) would have been great.

: Ellenis hosting is lovely and she could not have been more helpful. The standard of the very comfortable accommodation is very high - am guessing quite new, with mini kitchen inc fridge/complimentary wine, and transfers. The only facility missing was a washing machine but then there is a local facility in the harbour for this if needed. Yes, it is on a local road, but that was quiet enough for me. I had been staying elsewhere locally and only needed 1 night though if I had wanted to be based in the harbour area this would definitely be my first choice.
: Breakfast at Iapetos is the let down, but if you just want to eat then thats fine - and, if you prefer, you can always self-cater in your room which is perfectly appointed for this purpose. Could be worth checking if there is going to be a wedding in the sister property, Iapetos, where breakfast is held, as the noise from the celebration was very loud and enduring. Eleni did mention this at check-in - it meant no access to the shared facilities e.g. pool.
