  : The accommodation is on a dusty dirt track road which is why taxis from Naxos Chora are reluctant to take one there. We found a taxi driver in the end but he charged us extra as he needed to 'get the car cleaned afterwards'. The way the accommodation is advertised on booking.com does not specify how remote it is. There are no supermarkets, corner shops or restaurants within walking distance of the property. If you want to stay here you are obliged to have a car. This should be mentioned on the website. There's is a bus stop across the road but the buses never come. We have wasted a lot of time waiting and waiting. If you call for a taxi you will need to order it from the main town and therefore pay for the journey they make to come and collect you. One of the steps leading up to the top floor inside the property was unstable and therefore presented a safety issue which was of particular concern for me as my foot was broken. Admittingly the owner rectified the problem quickly but i had to insist before it was taken seriously. A used coffee cup and a dirty ash tray were left on the terrace from the previous guests. In my opinion the accommodation is too expensive for what it offers. We have stayed in better places in Greece including Naxos with far better value for money. The owner knew I wasn't happy. As soon as they realised this, they charged my card without prior discussion and before we had even slept there for our first night. Upon checkout I requested an invoice. They told me they would email it but they never did. Instead, they pretended a 'no show' to booking.com which was double disappointing. Unless you have rented a car it is difficult to get around if you stay there and the next supermarket and restaurant are quite a distance.
