  : We stayed for three nights. We had our two children and we fitted perfectly into Pina Calderra. We had a fantastic welcome from Eugenia who was incredibly welcoming and full of all the help and information we needed. We were a family and so we decided to mostly self cater and therefore a few more utensils may have been handy (a cutting knife & chopping board for instance). This is really only a minor thing though. The fern tree that provides beautiful shade had two pigeons nesting so the terrace quickly became a little soiled which attracted ants and made it tricky to sit outside. Again this really was not a major thing.Our stay was amazing and we could not get over the beauty of the residence, its position for the view just awesome! Thank you!

  : Pina Caldera was a taste of heaven, the most incredible views out over the agean sea and up to the castle, the terrace got the sun all day, and the pool was delightful, a perfect mix of shade and sun, most of the private pools/terraces on the island are overlooked and not as private at this one, the only people that can see you here are the ones walking to their villas below, which is maybe 2 couples per day... A perfect location to everything in oia, a 30 second walk to the sunset spots, same to reach the top of the 300 steps down to ammoudi Bay (a must for dinner by the water watching sunset) vitrin crepes is a 1 minute walk and perfect for breakfast.The host is wonderful and so so helpful! I will certainly be back and recommend to others!

  : The view is outstanding, the place is exactly as depicted. The studio is larger than most of the places I researched. The terrace and pool are also larger than most and from what we saw, more privacy than most places as well. I don't think any of the places can say they offer complete privacy. The bed was very comfortable, shower was large with great water pressure. The kitchen was adequately stocked so that we could make pasta, pizza and salads. During our stay in April it was nice and quiet. The outdoor seating area is spacious and fabulous! The host, Konstantinos went over and above to accommodate our requests. He was always available and professional. This was the most expensive place we've ever stayed, but we splurged because it was my dream destination. We have no regrets, it was magnificent. The cleaning staff does a wonderful job, the place is always sparkling and fresh smelling when we come back to our studio. The pool guy shows up every morning. This studio has a locked gate and then also a locked door which offers more security than most other places. Another noteworthy thing is that you're 15-20 steps away from the most glorious sunsets on the island!
  : Not that this can be helped, because we see that it happens everywhere on the island, but tourists passing by occasionally lift the rope that acts as a privacy gate for the guests down this set of stairs. They wander down to try to get a glimpse of something. I think there should be a little sign that says "guests only beyond this point". The price is steep, but I realize it's normal when you have the Caldera view.
