  : If you pay for enjoying the view, be aware that if the room upstairs is occupied, their air conditioning will be on. Since the air-con machine of the neighbor is in the balcony of the apartment, the noise and the heat is very high and you will not be able to enjoy the view and the balcon. Your aircon will be also there, but you can Handel that one

  : We really loved the stay in Lava Oia , the view of sea from the room was excellent . I would recommend the place for the following reasons. 1- Host is very helpful 2- 5 min walk to city center . 3- walkable to shopping street and restaurants . 4- Hardly 10-20 steps to reach the stay from the main road. so no need of porter to carry the luggage (but still incase you need can opt for one ) 5- The room was comfortable , but don't expect too much of luxury like a 5 star hotel.

  : Breathtaking view. Central to main promenade of Santorini. Owner super helpful. Arranged transfers from airport. Also arranged trip on Catamaran. Gave good advice on restaurants and very friendly. Spoilt my daughter with fruits and treats. My husband loved the coffee! View from the unit was just something else. Sunsets were stunning.

  : 1.Our terrace had a view, but smelt of cat pee. Our superior studio was attached via a locked corridor to a villa, let out by the owner to her niece, who had 3/4 cats. These cats walked around the outside of the terrace, so smell of cat pee was strong. Our studio was connected by a corridor with a locked door to a villa, & at night we awoke to the sound of loud voices. The owners niece talking on the phone late at night.2.We removed dirty bedding & placed it at front door of studio to be collected. Pillow was completely stained yellow, front & back, top bed cover was dirty. Owner didnt apologize, but instead got angry over the phone, objecting to us showcasing her dirty bedding to a hotel next door. After that incident owner communicated via email through Booking.com rather than call using phone provided in studio. Owner emailed to have our room cleaned which she insisted was policy. We read through policies, there was nothing written regarding daily cleaning & changing of bedding.3.Bed was of low quality, mattress was hard & bed frame creaked which disturbed our sleep each time we moved in middle of the night.4.Hot water tank was too small, ran out of hot water after one person. We had to have a shower at different times allowing time for hot water tank to heat up. We were told it would heat up in 10 mins that was incorrect. Owner told us to switch off hot water after having a shower.5.Two pieces of outdoor furniture were broken. The outdoor seat was dangerous, for the reason that when you lent back in the seat it tipped over. We had to lean back against the wall to stop it from tipping back.6.Outdoor umbrella was broken, edges of this canvas flapped around & metal arms moved around not allowing good shade. 1 broken umbrella was provided with a heavy concrete base, this was a problem due to terrace being in full sun whole day & we needed some shade.
