  : My stay at the Hotel Naxos Beach was an absolute nightmare. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was greeted with disappointment after disappointment. The rooms were not just small; they were downright suffocating. The low ceilings made me feel like I was in a dungeon, and the darkness inside was only accentuated by the dingy, outdated decor. The bathroom was a horror show. Mould covered the walls, and the drains were so clogged that it was a challenge to drain the bathroom sink. To make matters worse, I found nail clippings on the floor, a clear indication that cleanliness was not a priority here. To have management, then accuse me of being responsible for the nail clippings was offensive. The photos of the hotel are nothing but a cruel joke. They give the illusion of a beautiful, integrated pool, but in reality, it's a shared pool with another hotel and is located adjacent to the property. False advertising at its finest. The stench of sweet, fake air freshener permeated the rooms, a futile attempt to mask the musty, aging odor of the place. Even the janitor/Gardner/receptionist, in a moment of honesty, admitted that complaints about the deteriorating facilities were common. His dismissive comment that dirt could be found anywhere, even in one's own home, was a feeble attempt to justify the filth. In my haste to escape this abomination, I unintentionally left with the room keys. Hotel management wasted no time in telling me that there would be no refund and demanded the immediate return of the keys so they could re-rent the rooms I had already paid for. It was a final insult to injury. Avoid Hotel Naxos Beach at all costs. It's a relic of a bygone era, and not in a charming way. The only thing worse than the hotel itself was the attitude of the staff and management. This place deserves to be condemned, not occupied.

The room originally granted (already at an exorbitant price) was downright unacceptable - A better room was, upon request, found on the second day, against a supplement to the original price - still by far overpriced, considering the amenities

  : Immaculately clean and comfortable. The staff were amazing, they couldnt do enough for us and they were very helpful when we needed information about the local area and how to get to places. Although too far to walk from the port with heavy suitcases, the location was perfect, as it was really quiet and peaceful for sleeping.
