  : If you book properly, Oikies has the potential to be one of your favorite stays while on Paros. Aphrodite is soooo nice and welcoming. She met us with the keys and explained everything about the island and what we could do. We all got food poisoning and she was very concerned and checked on us. The apartment is spacious, clean, lots of amenities, great AC, and close to town (lots of hills to walk around in Paros though, be prepared). They left snacks in the fridge for us. The beach is a 6 minute walk away and its a beautiful sand beach with blue water.
  : The BIG issue for us is that we researched this property for weeks prior to booking, and we had NO idea that we weren't going to receive an apartment with a pool. We specifically booked Oikies for the balcony and pool. Had we known, we would definitely have booked a different place, especially for the price, because it is very expensive to have a ground floor apartment without the balcony and pool. It claims to have a terrace but its just an hot outdoor area overlooking an empty lot without any shade. On the website it claims the apartments have private pools, and all the photos on Booking.com show pools with the apartments. When choosing a room, I believe the ground floor apartment was our only option, but we didn't see anywhere where it said we did not have a pool. I want to stress that this place is beautiful and the people are wonderful, but if you're looking for a pool you must book an upstairs apartment.

  : Lovely decor, first impressions were great. Really liked the welcome pack of food left in the fridge. Had lots of space over the two apartments and the terrace and pool were especially lovely.
  : Things that didn't quite hit for us were the hot water- this was constantly switched off whilst we were out and controlled both apartments. Cool showers in the evenings were not brilliant! Housekeeping did a great job but bins were not always emptied. The washing machine had an issue and would not open. Location is fantastic but there are lots of hills to climb which may not suit all travellers and it can get noisy outside.

  : - Sadly soundproofed, I wake up every morning by the cleaning staff or neighbours (from the apartment above)- There was no pool. We expected one based on the pictures.
