: this property was recently refurbished and therefore in good order and there was plenty of storage
: unfortunately the property is opposite to a music bar where the music is load and didnt stop until 3am so if you want a good nights sleep dont stay here. the bed was also extremely uncomfortable. as a general point about monemvasia some tips for travellers, didnt visit on national holidays or in peak season as the crowds are huge and as you cannot park anywhere close the system of getting on or off the island with luggage is chaotic and stressful. my recommendation is to stay on the main land and visit the island on foot or by taxi/bus. monemvasia is like Venice narrow streets with hoards of people making it almost impossible to enjoy the beautiful scenery. so go out of season and midweek and avoid Greece national holidays and finally stay on the mainland

: Beautiful renovation of a traditional house, close to the Kastro gate (not too far to haul your bags!) spacious with comfortable bed, close to restaurants and shops. A quiet location with stunning sea views. The host was very kind & welcoming.

: This accommodation is spacious and provides a nice outlook towards the water. The bed is comfortable and the owners are happy to do anything to help you with your stay. There are a small number of stairs to get to the front door from the main walk path. It is also right next to restaurant Chrisovoulo which we found to be excellent. You can not park in the old city so you need to drop your bags at the main gates and then find parking for the car, which we found within 100m of the gate.
: The bathroom is a little challenging due to the way the owners had to set it up for heritage reasons. For a tall person like me, you have to remember to duck as you go through the bathroom door.
