  : Room was lovely, and the breakfast was excellent.
  : There were very few facilities in the kitchen. No kettle, so coffee or tea. Rooms at Malvasia that I have stayed in previously had mosquito plugs, but this room had none. I was bitten.

  : The view and the breakfast were excellent. The location is also superb.
  : There was a misunderstanding with the room we booked. At the site for the standard double room, they have attached many different pictures which dont give a clear view of which room you choose so when you book the room you don't know which you've got.We wanted the one with the balcony and that was and the main motive to book that accommodation. Although when we arrived they gave us a different room and they mentioned that we should have called in advance to tell them which one we booked. This is firstly not professional and mostly disleading.

  : Breakfast is one of the best during our 2 weeks trip in Greece. Very generous spread for a fulfilling stomach. The place is like going back to ancient days living in a castle, with cobblestone street, stone walls building, beautiful sea and clear and see-through waters. The hike to the top and walk along the wall fronting the sea is memorable, an experiences we will cherish. Never stay in such a place, a FIRST. All who visit Greece, must travel south to Monamvasia even thought is a long journey of a few hours. The hotel porter, Nico, modern day Hercules, haul our heavy bags from the gate of the castle entrance to our hotel. THANKS. You deserve the tips and the BEER.

  : The 2 bedroom suite was a perfect arrangement for 3 adults and 1 child.
  : The room was dimly lit. Some brighter bulbs in the lamps would fix that.

  : Staying inside the city-walls of Monemvasia is a great experience itself, our hotel made it even more immersive. We had a family room with a sleeping room for parents, a sleeping area for the kids, 2 bathrooms and a balcony with a sea-view. We stayed for one night and enjoyed the evening in a cafe downstairs. Breakfast was modest at first sight but eventually occurred to be quite rich, fresh and delicious, we could discover local specialties. Descriptions and reviews at booking.com made it easy to understand that there is no traffic allowed in town, it was easy to park the car on the street before the gates and we walked with couple of light suitcases for about 10 minutes to reach the hotel. If needed, one can also hire a helper who awaits tourists in front of the gate and get the suitcases carried on a trolley.
