  : I cannot believe that all the glowing reviews about this place are genuine. it isnt a hotel as no kettle in room or any staff support. not an apartment as had no facilities to make a drink or prepare and eat food
  : where do I start !!! it was awful trying to find the place, its location is inaccessible by car. it was a 10-15 min walk to the town to get any food/drinks etc. we spent the night alone on the property and left the next day despite having booked for 2 nights. the hot tub was empty

  : nice and clean room with a very friendly host who supports guests with a self made app to see the best of the west of Crete.
  : the village, no coffee or tea available, no parking

  : Both Emilio and his Wife are friendly hosts and their recommendations helpful and (mostly) accurate.
  : The location is less of a sanctuary but with immediate neighbours at all sides, one out four Nights heavily partying until 3:00 am - no sleep at all. Walls and windows paper thin providing no shielding at all. Overall stylish rather than having style and/or substance. Rooms tiny, stairs extremely steep and almost dangerous, (double) beds very small (140cm), so was the shower with razor sharp dangerous edges at the glass separator. No compensation for sleepless night.

  : - Very modern, beautiful, loft design.- Beautiful landscape from the bedroom balcony, where we had our breakfast.- Beautiful shared terrace under big tree, where you can take you breakfast.- Comfy bed and sheets. - Bedroom sheets, bathroom towels, and beach towels were changed regularly, the beach towels saved us luggage space.- Air conditioning, iron, and hair dryer all worked fine. The iron, you have to ask for it.- Bathroom shampoo, shower gel, hair conditioner, body milk, and hand washer were of high quality and had a nice scent, also were regularly refilled.- there was a small fridge where we could keep cold water, fruits, and other things we bought from the store to eat for breakfast, not as cold as a real fridge, but enough to keep that cream cheese and mortadella in good shape for the next morning.
  : - It was up a pretty big hill, and you can not park in front of the property. From the nearest parking lot it was like 50m, not much, but still up the hill.- the apartment is split in 2 floors, bathroom at floor 1, bedroom and floor 2, we did those stairs like 50 times every day to get ready. BTW, other rooms had the bathroom and bedroom on the same floor.- the breakfast offered there was a bit expensive, 20/person. You can eat cheaper somewhere else.- And finally, the cherry on the top: cockroaches, huge ones . These come from the sewage, thats what we were told. These were taken care of in all rooms, besides ours, since there was somebody in our room immediately before us and they forgot to treat the sewages in there. And we had some huge surprizes. Either way, we got moved to a different room, and didnt see those MFs again.

  : Overall it was a positive experience - Room was clean and we enjoyed the terrace, which was quite big. The host was great and warm and we got very nice recommendations for things to do and most of all - for the very good restaurants! there wasn't anything from the recommendations that we didn't like.
  : There are some things that could have made the stay better:- a coffee machine inside the room/ electric kettle. We were aware from the time we booked that there was no kitchenette in the room and we were fine with that as we didn't plan to prepare anything in the room, but a coffee machine would have been great, as you would get the flexibility to enjoy a coffee/ tea whenever you want.- not enough space to hang your clothes/ few hangers -> in our room, there was an open hanging space with only 4 hangers - it would have been great to have a bigger space for this or more hangers, especially for a longer stay, as it becomes difficult to keep all your clothes in your trolley- a big mirror in the room. there was only the small one in the bathroom - mosquito nets for the windows. there weren't any and we got to experience some little spiders or bugs coming in the room through the windows, even with the curtains pulled- drying rack on the balcony - it would have been great to have a small one to use for any wet beach towels etc.
